Outfield Coach

Begins 6th Year at Palomar in 2024

A.A., Palomar College 2016: B.A., University of Neveda-Reno, 2018

Chase Grant will be entering his 6th season with Palomar Baseball in 2024 serving as the outfield coach. Grant has been on staff since 2019. He began his college career at Palomar College from 2015-16, winning a conference championship, as well as making it to the CCCAA Final Four in 2015. Granted was also a CCCAA Gold Glove Winner in 2015. He then moved on to the University of Nevada, Reno where he played in 2017 and 2018, winning a Mountain West Conference Championship in 2018.

Grant has prior coaching experience in the MINK Collegiate Summer League, taking a team to the playoffs for the first time in 10 years, as well as coaching in the San Diego Collegiate League. 

He earned a Bachelor of General Studies degree from the University of Nevada, Reno in 2018. He currently working on an M.S. in Kinesiology at California State University, San Marcos. 

Grant is a North County native living in Carlsbad.
