Elijah Nero and DJ Weimer shine bright at US Beach Nationals
US Beach Nationals – TWO Comets Win U20 National Titles
I just wanted to highlight our two U20 Beach Wrestling National Champions from this past weekend, Elijah Nero (70 KG) and DJ Weimer (80 KG)! Our guys did great and won two out of the four contested weights in their age group. It's a big deal when any junior college athlete wins a USA Wrestling national title in any event, and we took home half of the championships in the men's division.

The US Senior National Championships also took place, which had a World Champion, 4 World Medalists, collegiate national champions/All-Americans, etc. It was a great experience for our guys to watch some high-level handfighting so close to home.
