Comets push past Owls with ease

CYPRESS, CA (12/3/2022) -- In their second game of the Lady Charger Classic, Palomar College faced Citrus College 102-51 to improve to 8-0 on the season. 

Led by sophomore Deajanae Harvey, who finished with 23 points, Palomar led 24-9 after one quarter of play and didn't let up, never letting the Owls get close. The Comets caused 34 turnovers while only committing 13 of their own. Palomar scored 41 points off turnovers. 

Harvey finished with 23 points, eight assists, six rebounds and seven steals. Sophomore Eva Ciriza went 7-12 for 19 points. Freshmen Teanna Alaman and Lacee Silva rounded out the double-digit scorers with 12 and 10 points, respectively. 

Palomar moves to 8-0 and will face Merced College on the final day of the Lady Charger Classic.
