Lefebvre to University of Jamestown

SAN MARCOS, CA (8/8/2022) -- Mackenzie Lefebvre has signed with the University of Jamestown to further her softball playing career. 

In one season for the Comets, Lefebvre was a power hitter and typically was the designated hitter in addition to catching and playing first base. She recorded a .435 batting average and homered six times during the season. Lefebvre had 37 hits on the season and totaled 30 RBI in 101 plate appearances. On the defensive side of the game, she had 16 putouts with two assists. Behind the plate she was able to catch one runner stealing and allowed just one passed ball. 

Jameston is an NAIA school located in North Dakota. Last season they were 23-24-1 overall.
