Bio

Scott has served as a Palomar Assistant swim coach for 12 years and also heads the Inland Coast Aquatics Club program at the school. A member of the American Swimming Coaches Association, Lawson was selected by the San Diego chapter as Age Group of the year in both 1990 and 1996. Scott was awarded the Coach of the Year for Orange Empire Conference in 2003, for men's swimming, leading his Palomar swimmers to a conference championship.  A graduate of Texas Christian University, where he swam freestyle and butterfly competition, he holds a B.S. degree in math and B.A. in history.  Lawson lives in Oceanside and plans to attend graduate school at APU.
