Vidican commits to APU

SAN MARCOS, CA (3/6/2024) -- Sophomore midfielder Alex Vidican has committed to play soccer at Azuza Pacific University.

Vidican, who played in only nine games this season due to injury, was an electric player for the Comets the last two seasons. During his freshman year, Vidican started 16 of their 19 games and had five goals and three assists. This past season, he scored seven goals and finished with two assists. In his career he had three multi-goal games. Last season the Comets made the playoffs for the first time in recent memory and defeated College of the Desert 3-1 to advance to the second round of playoffs where they met a tough Golden West College squad.

Azuza Pacific is a NCAA Division II school and competes in the PacWest Conference. Last season they went 6-8-3 overall and 5-4-1 in conference play.

Congrats Alex!
