Golf has strong showing at Los Serranos South
CHINO HILLS, CA (4/22/2019) -- In the final round of play before the conference tournament, Palomar finished in first place with a team score of 383.
Jacob Montes and Alex Rhee were both the low medalists shooting an even 74 at Los Serranos South.
Zach Brown shot a 77, going 3-over and Kyoshiro Azumada shot a 78. Kyle Hazlett shot an 80 and rounding out the team was Richard Jeppesen who shot an 82.
Montes currently has a three-shot lead over College of the Desert's Clem Heurtin. Azumada is in fourth place, followed by Brown, Jeppesen and Rhee, respectively. Hazlett is in 11th place with a total score of 709.
The Pacific Coast Athletic Conference tournament will be on Monday, April 29 at El Camino Country Club in Oceanside.
