Comets take fifth at Socal Preview

CHINO HILLS, CA (4/8/2019) – Palomar took fifth place in a nonconference match on Monday with a total score of 371 at the Socal Preview. Orange Coast College took first with a score of 357.

The Comets went 11-4 on the day. Zach Brown and Kyle Hazlett had their best rounds of the season with scores of 70 and 72, respectively.

Jacob Montes shot a 72, Kyoshiro Azumada shot 78 and rounding out the team was Richard Jeppesen, who shot 79.

Coach Mark Halda says the team needs from fine tuning and focus to be ready for regionals in three weeks.

The Comets will be back in conference action on Wednesday.
