Four Comets Earn All-Conference Honors

SAN MARCOS, CA (2/25/2025) -- The Palomar College men's basketball team had four players recognized for their outstanding performances this season as the Pacific Coast Athletic Conference (PCAC) announced its All-Conference teams.

Leading the way were Isaiah Pomare and Max Zylicz, who were named to the First Team after stellar campaigns. Pomare dominated the paint all season, averaging a double-double with 18.1 points and 12.1 rebounds per game while shooting an efficient 55.4% from the field. Zylicz was a force from beyond the arc, knocking down 43 three-pointers at a 39.1% clip, finishing the season averaging 13.5 points and 6.1 rebounds per game.

Jaidyn Norman earned Second Team honors after a strong all-around season in which he averaged 11.3 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 2.6 assists per game, while shooting 40.9% from the field. His ability to contribute in multiple areas made him a key piece of the Comets' success.

Isaiah Tolmaire received Honorable Mention recognition for his leadership and playmaking ability. He averaged 12.3 points and 3.1 rebounds per game, while leading the team with 47 assists and shooting 42.1% from the field.

The Comets finished the season 17-11 overall and 10-6 in conference play, earning the No. 21 seed in the 3C2A Southern California Regional Playoffs. The recognition of these four players highlights the team's strong season and the impact they made on the court.
