Bio

 

Pitching Coach

Begins 4th Year at Palomar in 2022

 B.A., Cal State Bakersfield, 2015; M.A., Cal State Northridge, 2018

Hayden Carter is in his 4th year with Palomar Baseball as the Pitching Coach/Recruiting Coordinator. He has been a part of the Comet coaching staff since 2018. He is also currently the Field Manager for the Kokomo Jackrabbits in the Northwoods Collegiate Summer League. 

Previously, carter served at the Pitching Coach for the Milwaukee Milkmen in the American Associated of Professional Baseball and helped lead the Milkmen to an American Association League Championship. Carter was also a Graduate Assistant/Director of Baseball Operations at CSU-Northridge from 2017-2018 and was a Volunteer Assistant Coach for Palomar during the 2016 season. He also served as the Pitching Coach for the Jamestown Jammers in the Perfect Game Collegiate Baseball League (PGCBL) from 2016-18 and helped lead the Jammers to a PGCBL Championship in 2018.

Carter played collegiately at CSU-Bakersfield from 2012-15. He was named the 2015 Western Athletic Conference (WAC) Pitcher of the Year and was the winning pitcher in CSUB’s first NCAA Division I Tournament victory with a complete-game over the University of Mississippi. 
 
He earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Communications from CSU-Bakersfield and earned his Master’s Degree in Recreation, Tourism and Hospitality Management from CSU-Northridge.
