OKLAHOMA CITY (5-24-2017) -- Palomar alum Taylor Turski dominated nationally No. 6-ranked TCU to open the Big 12 tournament on Wednesday as the University of Kansas stunned the Horned Frogs 7-3.

Turski, a Temecula Valley High School product who went 12-1 for the Comets during the 2015 and 2016 seasons, left the game with a 3-2 lead with one out in the seventh inning. TCU tied the game after Turski departed but the Jayhawks scored four times in the eighth to win it.

Turski, throwing 108 pitches, struck out eight and walked none.

"I felt great," Turski said after the game. "I wanted to go in there and throw strikes and attack the hitters, which is what I did. I felt great."
