Bio

All-State and All-American at Palomar who compiled a 20-6 record and 2.11 ERA for the Comets. Prior to Palomar: Ramona High School. After Palomar: Drafted by the Padres after his junior season at Long Beach State in 2007. Currently: Beginning his fifth season as a Major League reliever for the Padres with a career ERA of 2.63 and 161 strikeouts in 150 2/3 innings pitched. One of the best short relievers in the Major Leagues. Led the National League in 2014 in allowing the least inherited runs and compiled an ERA of 2.35 in 2015. In his last 23 appearances for the Padres last season, Vincent made 22 straight appearances without giving up an earned run before the Dodgers finally scored an earned run off him in the final game of the regular season.
