Bio
Paul Farley, a graduate of Vista High School, was a dominate athlete in both water polo and swimming during his Palomar College career, performing under the direction of Hall of Fame Head Coach Don Hubbard in both sports. A two-time all-conference selection in water polo, Farley’s aggressive style of play helped lead the Comets to back-to back Mission Conference Championships and state community college post-season tournament appearances. On Coach Hubbard’s swim team, he led the Comets to the 1979 Mission Conference Championship, breaking an astonishing 10 individual-event and relay team school records along the way. Farley’s son, Chris, has followed in his father’s swim strokes, having recently paced the Comets to back-to-back conference water polo championships, in addition to being a triple winner in the Pacific Coast Athletic Conference Championship Swim Meet.
