Starred at Palomar as a centerfielder/middle infielder for 2 seasons under coach Jim Clayton and for 2 seasons at United States International University under coach Bob Vetter. Prior to Palomar: Baseball player and All-CIF football player at Vista High School. After Palomar: SID (USIU, Saddleback) / sportswriter (Vista Press / San Marcos Courier); Director of Public Relations for NBA's San Diego Clippers; Vice-President of San Diego Sockers and Phoenix Pride Major League Indoor Soccer teams; Very successful in private business, taking North County Vending, originally founded by his brother-in-law, national and transforming it from a tiny operation into a multi-million dollar national company, as a vice-president and later owner.
