Bio

Bosh led coach Joe Brennan's 1958-59 Palomar team to a third-place finish in the state, when the state tournament still had a third-place game. The 6-foot-7 Bosch was the only South Central Conference player named to the Los Angeles Times' All-Southern California JC Team. Prior to Palomar: Played at Escondido High School, where he was cut from the team as a 5-foot-6 freshman but finally emerged as a star in his first varsity season as a senior, making first-team All-Avocado League after growing to 6-foot-7. After Palomar: Received a scholarship to UC Santa Barbara, then a Division II national power, where he was a two-time all-conference (CCAA) selection and was selected to the UPIAll-pacific Coast selection. When he was a junior, the Gauchos defeated Oregon State, Arizona, University of San Francisco, Long Beach State and Nevada, advancing to the Division II National Tournament. After graduating from UCSB, Bosch was an assistant for the Gauchos from 1963-1970, followed by two seasons as an assistant at University of the Pacific under coach Stan Morrison. Currently: Retired Introduced by former Escondido High and Palomar teammate Ray Ruggles.
