Softball 2006-07

A local product hailing from Carlsbad High School, Ginalee Davis fashioned a stellar softball career at Palomar College. As a freshmen, Davis became an immediate starter, helping lead Coach Mark Eldridge's team to a 35-13 win-loss record and a Pacific Coast Conference championship. in her sophomor year, she developed into a power hitting slugger, posting a .385 batting average while belting nine doubles, two triples, and eight home runs. in the process, she drove in a team-high 36 runs in 48 games played. Davis moved on to Lubbock (texas) Christian University, where she batted .446 with 87 runs batted in and producing an .845 slugging percentage. During her years with the Chaparrals, Lubbock Christian played in back-to-back NAIA World Series, winning the National Championship in 2008 at Decatur, Alabama. Davis returned to Palomar as an assistant coach between 2008-2010.
