PC tops COD 4-1 as Kaye-Toral, Sanchez each has goal, assist

SAN MARCOS (10-27-2017) -- Coach Hector Hernandez's Palomar women's soccer team prove to be a rude host to College of the Desert in a Pacific Coast Athletic Assotiation North Division game on Friday afternoon at Minkoff Field.

The Comets turned back the visiting Roadrunners 4-1 as Samantha Kaye-Toral and Yuliana Sanchez led the way, each with a goal and an assist.

Alex Bruzzie scored the first Palomar goal off a Sanchez assist. Jessse Rojas followed with an unassisted goal. Kaye-Toral had the third goal, assisted by Yulithsa chamu.

And Sanchez tallied the Comets' fourth and final goal, on Kaye-Toral's assist, in the 67th minute. 

Goalkeeper Rosa Lopez recorded four saves.
