Power five get it done at Mt SAC invitational

WALNUT, CA (2/25/2023) -- The women competed in eight events at the Mt. SAC Swimming and Diving Invitational. 

Megan and Emily Gornall, the diving sisters, will be a force this season. Megan won both events offered at the community college level. On the 1M, Megan scored 208.95, while Emily finished 4th with a score of 162.25. On the 3M, Megan finished with a score of 204.65 and Emily finished in 3rd with a score of 164.10.

In the water, Emma Hart, Elena Pena and Alessandra Fleishman put in work for the Comets. Pena competed in both the 200Y Free and the 200Y Breast. She finished in 4th place with a time of 2:06.81 in the free and in 3rd place with a time of 2:40.09 in the breast. Hart won both the 200Y Back (2:11.11) and the 200Y Fly (2:10.61). Fleishman finished in 6th place in the 100Y Free with a time of 56.61. They took home first place in the 800Y Free Relay with a time of 8:53.83. 

The women will head to Crafton Hills College on Friday afternoon for the first PCAC Invitational.
