Comets pickup where they left off at Waterman Pentathlon

SAN MARCOS, CA (2/10/2023) -- The Palomar College Men's Swim team is picking up where they left off in the 2022 season. Returning are stars Timothy Godin, Kevin Brunia and Jacob Rochman

The trio went 1-2-3 in the 50-yard butterfly, with Godin finishing in first with a time of 24.27, followed by Brunia (24.34) and Rochman (24.54). Freshman Ajay Ahooja finished in fourth with a time of 24.56. In the 50-yard back, it was Rochman, Ansel Johnson and Ahooja in order with times of 25.38, 26.22 and 27.33, respectively. Brunia was the only Comet in the top three for the 50-yard breaststroke, winning it with a time of 27.22. Godin and Rochman finished in first and third, respectively, in the 50-yard free. In the 100-yard IM, Brunia, Rochman and Godin went 1-2-3. The trio posted times of 57.16, 57.21, and 57.34, respectively. 

The men will head to Golden West College on Feb. 24.
