Women go undefeated at home with win over Miramar

SAN MARCOS, CA (10/30/2019) – In their final home match of the season, women's water polo faced San Diego Miramar College and won 19-8 to go undefeated at home this season. Harley Young had 10 goals for the Comets including five in a row to start for the fourth quarter. Haley Balch started the scoring party early in the first quarter and she ended the day with four goals and one steal. Sydni Dickson and Ciara Webb both had two goals a piece and Dickson recorded four steals. Sophie White had one goals and one steal. Julia Miller had 21 saves on 29 shots.

Palomar is now 4-1 on conference play and 15-8 overall. The women are in the Rio Hondo Mini Tournament on Friday and will begin the PCAC Championship tournament on Nov. 8 at Southwestern College.
