Volleyball faces tough challenge at Long Beach Quad; drops two matches

LONG BEACH, CA (8/30/2019) – Women's volleyball lost to Long Beach City College and El Camino College in their first two matches of the season.

Palomar lost to Long Beach 3-0 (25-12; 25-17; 25-13). The Comets recorded six kills in the first two sets and five in the third. Carsyn Emerson had nine of the teams 13 assists. Arielle Vannoy recorded 10 digs against Long Beach. Zandrea Brown and Alina Lecakes-Jones both had four kills.

Palomar lost to El Camino in three sets (25-19; 25-6; 25-7). 

The Comets will be back in action at home on Tuesday at 5 p.m. when they face San Bernardino Valley College.
