Clark and Edemann Named to All-PCAC Team
SAN MARCOS, CA (12/4/2024) -- Two standout members of the Palomar College women's soccer team, Ashley Clark and Macey Edemann, earned All-Pacific Coast Athletic Conference honors for their exceptional performances during the 2024 season.
Clark, a sophomore midfielder, had a historic season, leading the team with 19 goals and seven assists for a total of 45 points. Her dynamic offensive ability made her a consistent scoring threat and a key contributor in Palomar's success. She notched three game-winning goals and demonstrated leadership throughout the season, helping the Comets finish with an 8-11-1 overall record and 7-8-1 in conference play.
Edemann, a stalwart on defense, played in all 15 games and provided critical support in transitioning play from the backline. While her primary role was defensive, Edemann also contributed offensively, recording five assists, including several in pivotal matches. Her vision and composure on the field anchored the Comets' defensive efforts.
Both players' contributions were instrumental in Palomar's successes this season, including several commanding victories and a strong finish to conference play. Their All-PCAC selections are a testament to their hard work, talent, and impact on the field.
