Comets rally to tie Knights 3-3 on the road

SAN DIEGO, CA (11/2/2021) -- Women's soccer found the energy they needed to come back and tie San Diego City College 3-3 on Tuesday. The Comets came out early with their first goal in the 13th minute, scored by the speedy and crafty Lindsay Kramer. The Knights came back and tied it up in the 44th minute and added on two more in the 70th and 72nd minutes. Layla Moore found the goal in the 76th minute and 20 seconds later, Itzel Villalobos tied the game. Villalobos had the hot foot as she had three shots on goal while Moore had two. Fill-in goalkeeper Leyla Tsabur had seven saves on the day. 

The Comets move to 4-9-2 on the season and are now 3-8-1 in PCAC play. Palomar will be back on the pitch at home on Friday to face San Diego Mesa College at 3 p.m.
