Comets drop match number two to Golden West

HUNTINGTON BEACH, CA (9/6/2019) – Palomar lost to Golden West 4-0 on Friday afternoon.

Golden West scored their first two goals in the first half, one at the 17-minute mark and the next at the 36-minute mark. Both were cross and header goals. In the second half, Golden West scored at the 75-minute mark and in the last minute. Both were freekicks.

Comet Gabriela Nava received her first yellow card of the season at the beginning of the game.

Palomar is now 0-1-1. The Comets will be back on the pitch on Tuesday when they return home to face L.A. Harbor at 2 p.m.
