Comets continue to roll; move to 10-1

CYPRESS, CA (12/7/2019) – Palomar faced El Camino College in the second round of the Cypress Lady Charger Classic and won 65-41.

Nikki Mayoral had 14 points for the Comets. She also had five rebounds, one assist and two steals. Melena Bland had nine points, nine rebounds, two assists and one steal. Aaliyah Taylor, Tiaja Bennett and Lilly Crabtree all had seven points.

Palomar caused 17 turnovers and scored 20 points off of them. The bench put up 25 points and the team had 50 rebounds.

The Comets are now 10-1 and will face East LA College at 4 p.m. on Sunday for the championship game.
