Winter headlines volleyball commitment class

SAN MARCOS, CA (8/8/2022) -- Four men's volleyball players have moved on to the 4-year level to continue their volleyball and academic careers. 

Elliot Winter has signed with Vanguard University to further his volleyball career. The outside hitter played in all 16 matches for the Comets this season. Hailing from Classical Academy, Winter recorded 61 kills and 24 digs this season. He also had eight solo blocks and six assisted blocks. He had a career-high 11 kills against Fullerton College on February 9 in the 3-2 win over the Hornets. 

Oliver Reinhard and Luke Wagner will be pursuing their academic careers at New York University and California State University, Fullerton, respectively. Konnor Rose, the only sophomore on the team this past season, will be joining the police force and has enrolled in the Police Academy.
