Comets beat Mesa 3-0 for first home win

SAN MAROS, CA (4/5/2019) – The Comets won their first home match in two years defeating San Diego Mesa 3-0 on Friday.

In set one, the Comets beat the Olympians 25-21 in a back and forth battle. The two teams battled for every point, but the Comets came out on top.

The second set was a battle of serving at first and then the rallying began. The Comets took set two 25-14.

In the final set, the Comets and Olympians were back and forth once again. Palomar was about to rally and pull out the 25-18 win.

The Comets will be back in action at home on Wednesday at 6 p.m. against Miramar.
