Soccer drops second home conference match to City

SAN MARCOS, CA (10/15/2019) – Men's soccer faced San Diego City College in a PCAC matchup and lost 2-0.

The Comets and the Knights were scoreless through 60 minutes of play. San Diego City's Erwin Hampton scored on a corner kick assist from Jordy Robolledo. At the 80-minute mark, Dalton Kinney scored on a penalty kick.

Palomar's own Andy Zazueta and Mario Lopez both received yellow cards during the match. This was the first yellow card for both players.

The Comets are now 5-4-4 overall and 1-1-2 in PCAC play. Palomar is now is fourth place in the conference behind MiraCosta, who is in third. The men will be on the road for their next conference match at San Diego Mesa College at 7 p.m.
