Comets land in first place at Spring Valley

VICTORVILLE, CA (3/9/2020) – Palomar began their Orange Empire Conference play on Monday and took first place with a team score of 376 at Spring Valley Lake Country Club. This is the team's first win of the season and their best score. They finished above Mt. San Antonio College (376) and College of the Desert (387), two top programs for the sport.

Kyle Hazlett was the low medalist with a score of 69, his season-best. Brandon Michaels finished 2-under par shooting a 70 on the day, also his season-best. Drew Norby finished with a 76 and Nick Van Vleet shot a 77. Patrick Jaksch shot a 78 while Eric Bolander finished with 83. Bolander's score was thrown out.

The men will be at Torrey Pines on Wednesday, Mar. 11 for the Clash at the Coast.
