Ochoa poured in 41 points, finishing just two points shy of the program's single-game scoring record. The sophomore guard was unstoppable from start to finish, shooting 14-of-21 from the field and knocking down eight three-pointers, while also adding seven assists and three steals to cap a dominant all-around night.

Jaidyn Norman delivered a huge performance of his own, posting 28 points and 10 rebounds for a double-double, while Isaiah Pomare added 14 points, six rebounds, and two assists in limited minutes. Benjie Nudo chipped in 10 points and five assists, helping Palomar maintain control throughout the second half.

The Comets led by 16 at halftime and never let the Griffins threaten, finishing with 31 points off turnovers and 24 assists on 37 made baskets. Palomar also connected on 17 three-pointers, keeping constant pressure on the perimeter.
