FRESNO / ATLANTA (5-26-2013) -- Three more Palomar football players have committed to four-year college football programs.

Offensive tackle Nate Devan (6-foot-7, 295 pounds, Chaparral High School in Temecula) will transfer to Fresno State.

Guard A.J.  Kaplan (6-foot-6, 300 pounds, Faith Lutheran High School in Las Vegas) will transfer to the Football Championship Subdivision's (Division I-AA) Georgia State.

Defensive tackle C.J. Spratt (6-foot-2,  271 pounds, Tafuna High School in Pago Pago, American Samoa) will transfer to Division II Eastern New Mexico.

Former Comet Arthur Williams was a tight end at Georgia State, which is in Atlanta, during the 2010 and 2011 seasons. The Panthers, who play their home games in the Georgia Dome, have West Virginia (Sept. 14 in Morgantown) and Nationial Champion Alabama (Oct. 5 in Tuscaloosa) on their 2013 schedule.

Kaplan is the second 2012 Palomar offensive lineman to land a scholarship from Fresno State, joining tackle Kolby Drew, a Rancho Buena Vista High product. Drew withdrew from Palomar during the spring semester to deal with family issues so his future for the 2013 season is uncertain.
