Palomar takes game two against San Bernardino

SAN BERNARDINO, CA (3/28/2019) – Palomar took game two of the series against San Bernardino 4-3 on Thursday.

Evan Ianniciello singled in the second inning and advanced to second, while Justin Folz advanced to third and Noah Hemphill scored. Mitchell Moralez singled next and was credited two RBIs after Ianniciello and Folz scored.

Later in the fifth inning, Moralez reached first base on an error by the shortstop. Hemphill advanced to second and Adrian Collazo scored on an unearned run.

Folz was 2-4 with one run. Moralez was 1-4 with one RBI and Hemphill was 2-3 with one RBI.

Braden Olthoff pitched six innings and had 10 strikeouts. He gave up nine hits and three earned runs. Andrew Reitmeyer pitched two innings and had five strikeouts.

The final game in the series is Saturday at 12 p.m. at Palomar.
