Four Comets selected to All-PCAC teams

SAN DIEGO, CA (12/6/2023) -- Palomar College Women's Water Polo had five selections to the All-PCAC teams this season.

Freshman Emily Freeman and sophomore Grace Goode were named First Team All-PCAC while sophomores Hannah Morris and Devyn Wible were named Second Team All-PCAC. Sophomore Bella Chacon received an honorable mention. 

Freeman played in all seven conference matches for the Comets. She finished with 19 goals, 10 assists, 15 steals and six exclusions drawn. She recorded a season-high eight goals against Crafton Hills College on Oct. 25. SHe played outstanding defense against Southwestern College on Sept. 27 when she recorded seven steals in a 12-6 win. 

Goode, a sophomore from Fallbrook High School, finished the conference season with 11 goals, six assists, 10 steals, five blocks and five exclusions drawn. She had three blocks against San Diego Miramar College in the conference championship semifinals on Nov. 3. Goode also tied her season-high six goals against San Diego Miramar on Oct. 11. She recorded three steals against Crafton Hills on October 25. 

Hailing from Valley Center High School, Morris played in six conference games and finished with 15 goals, five assists, two steals and six exclusions drawn. The 2M had a season-high six goals against San Diego Mesa College in the third-place match of the conference championship. Wible, a sophomore from Lake Elsinore, finished the conference season with 11 goals, six assists, 11 steals, one block and four exclusions drawn. She had two conference matches where she scored three goals, Southwestern College (Sept. 27) and Crafton Hills College (Oct. 25).
