Comets finish up perfect regular conference play

SAN MARCOS, CA (11/1/2021) -- Palomar defeated Grossmont College 15-8 to finish the regular conference season undefeated. This is the first time the Comets have finished perfectly in conference play. Sophomore Sydni Dickson and freshman Brynna Bryant were the scoring leaders knocking down seven and four goals, respectively. Freshman Sierra Molina showed off her impeccable defensive skills holding strong for almost entire possessions. The Comets proved dominant in the water all season long, losing only to top-ranked teams in tournaments. They lead almost every statistical category in the conference, with Bryant, Dickson and freshman Elena Pena the top three scorers.
The Pacific Coast Athletic Conference tournament will start on Friday, Nov. 5, and finish up on Saturday. The Comets are 14-8 overall and 10-0 in conference play.
