Comets tie Southwestern in second conference game

CHULA VISTA, CA (9/20/2019) – Women's soccer traveled to Southwestern for their second road game of the week and tied the Jaguars 1-1.

Southwestern's Norma Kascinta scored the only goal at the 59-minute mark. Juliana Cervera scored the lone goal for the Comets on an assist from Dominique Driggs late in the second half to tie the game.

Goalie Kassandra Blanchard had 10 saves on the day. She is third in saves in the conference with 45 on the season. She is also second in save percentage with .833 percent.

Palomar is now 0-3-3 and will face Grossmont at home on Tuesday at 3 p.m.
