Women finish in sixth place in Orange Empire

WALNUT, CA (10/30/2019) – Women's golf finished up their conference play last week at Los Serranos Golf Club.

Kathy Henderson shot an 82 in the first round and an 86 in the second round, but was able to move up a spot to finish in fifth place individually. Because Henderson was in the top six, she earned a first team all-conference selection. Hailey Bjerknes shot a 97 in round one and a 107 in round two. Kumi Higuchi only played the first round in which she shot a 108. Marciel Nabor did not compete.

All four golfers have qualified for the Southern California Regionals which will be held at Via Verde Golf Club Nov. 10-11.
