Comets back in playoffs as No. 6 seed

SAN MARCOS, CA (2/25/2024) -- Palomar College Women's Basketball is back in the playoffs coming off their third conference championship in as many years. After finishing the regular season 23-5, Palomar was given the No. 6 seed in this year's bracket. 

They received a first-round bye and will face the winner of the No. 11 Imperial Valley and No. 22 Santa Barbara City College matchup happening on Wednesday night in the desert. The game could set up the first-ever PCAC playoff matchup in women's basketball history if Imperial Valley wins.

The women will host another round of playoffs for the fourth consecutive year and the eighth time in nine years. Tip-off is scheduled for 7 p.m. in the Dome.
