Comets finish conference with 99-50 win

CHULA VISTA, CA (2/21/2020) – Palomar traveled to Southwestern College for their final conference game and won 99-50.

Nikki Mayoral posted a career-high 33 points as she went 12-22 in the field and 7-14 at the 3-point line. She also had five rebounds, four assists and two steals. Mackenna Gentry had 14 points for the Comets to go along with four assists, three rebounds and three steals. Lilly Crabtree and Tiaja Bennett both had 10 points. Crabtree crashed the boards for seven rebounds to along with three steals and one block. Bennett had five rebounds, three steals and two assists. Taylor Williams finished the night with seven points, three rebounds, four assists and five steals.

The Comets finish their conference play with a 10-2 record and improve to 25-3 overall. Palomar is patiently waiting for their playoff seed, which will be out Sunday, Feb. 23, to see who they play next week.
