SAN MARCOS, CA (11/16/2019) – Palomar faced Riverside City College on day two of the Comet Classic and won 77-56 to extend their win streak.
Taylor Williams led the team with 18 points going 6-10 in the field and 5-7 beyond the arc. Aaliyah Taylor had 12 points while Lilly Crabtree and Dee Dee Valenzuela put up 11 for the Comets. Nikki Mayoral led all Comets with seven rebounds and eight assists. Valenzuela had two steals.
The team had 41 rebounds to Riverside's 40. The Comets committed 13 turnovers and caused 20 to score 32 points off those turnovers. Palomar's bench scored 41 points and Riverside's scored seven.
The Comets move to 5-0 on the season and face East LA on day three of the Comet Classic.
