Basketball player Clarissa Taite signs with Hope International

Women's basketball player Clarissa Taite has signed with Hope International University. This past season, Taite recorded 61 assists and averaged 10 points a game. On the defensive side of the ball, she had 22 rebounds and 37 steals. Taite played in all 29 games for the Comets and had a 27.5 3-point shooting percentage.

The Mira Mesa High School alumni received a first-team all-conference honor from the Pacific Coast Athletic Conference for the 2018-19 season. She was also a part of the team that went to the Elite Eight in the CCCAA Basketball State Tournament last year.

Last season Hope International was 17-11 overall and 7-11 in their conference play.
