Comets sweep Arabs in final regular season matchup

IMPERIAL, CA (4/4/2019) -- Palomar swept Imperial Valley on Thursday for their final regular season matchup. Doubles pair Will Molenkamp and Ricardo Campos beat IVC's Jesus Galeana and Dominick Reyes 6-0 on court No. 1. On the No. 2 court, Oscar Chavez and Chase white beat Albert Rodelles and Ricardo Gonzalez of IVC 6-2.

In the singles portion of the match, White beat Gonzalez 6-0, 6-0 on the No. 4 court. Molenkamp defeated Galeana 6-0, 6-0 on the No. 1 court. Aiden Portillo was on the No. 5 court and beat IVC's Carlos Draz 6-0, 6-0. Campos swept Rodelles 6-0, 6-0 on the No. 3 court. Finally, on the No. 2 court, Chavez won his first set 6-3, lost the second 7-6 and came back and won the third 10-3.

The men will be competing in the PCAC Tennis Tournament starting April 11.
