PASADENA, CA (9/2/2022) -- Palomar tied with Pasadena City College 2-0 to move to 0-1-2 on the season.
After a slow start to Tuesday's match, the Comets came out quick against the Lancers on Friday, scoring their first goal in the 4th minute. Cesar Velasquez scored on a rebound shot in the box with some help from Diego Picano. Roughly 20 minutes later, Velasquez set up for a corner kick and Masataro Ono punched the ball in to take a 2-0 lead.
The Lancers came back on a short pass in the box to cut the lead in half. Minutes into the second half Pasadena tied it up and it was all defense from there.
The Comets will be back on the pitch on Friday to face Santa Ana College at home for a 4 p.m. kickoff.
