Palomar rolls past Santiago Canyon; wins 4-2

ORANGE, CA (9/7/2019) – In their first night game of the season, Palomar defeated Santiago Canyon 4-2 on Saturday night.

Jacob Stutzman scored at the 13-minute mark on a penalty kick. Tyler Eldridge then scored several minutes after also on a penalty kick. In the second half Seth Murphy assisted to Alec Hooper at the start of the half. In the last minute, John Bernal scored thanks to an assist from Arturo Soltero.

Luis Escoto received his first yellow card of the season.

Palomar is now 2-2 and will face Orange Coast on the road on Tuesday at m.3 p.
