Garcia signs letter of intent to William Penn

Aaron Garcia signed a letter of intent with William Penn University in Oskaloosa, Iowa.

A 5-foot-3 sophomore Garcia has been a standout player for the Comets in the 2017 and 2018 seasons. A PCAC All-Conference player both seasons, Garcia was a 2018 PCAC Scholar-Athlete, 2018 CCCSCA Scholar Athlete, Team Player of the Year for 2018 and the leading scorer for the Comets for the 2018 season.

Garcia hails from Great Oak High School in Temecula and contributed a total of 18 points for the Comets during his two years, 14 of which came from the 2018 season.

"I chose William Penn because not only do they have a terrific academic kinesiology program, but they also offer an athletic soccer program that is considered one of the top programs in the nation," Garcia said. "I absolutely enjoyed my visit while touring the beautiful campus and really felt at home with all the people being really welcoming."
