Comets swing into first place after Soboba Springs

HEMET, CA (3/18/2019) -- Palomar finished the fourth round of conference play in first place. They played at Soboba Springs and as a team shot 382. Jacob Montes had the best score for the Comets, a 71 or 1-under par. This was his best round of play in conference. Montes is currently the conference leader with a total of 291 through the four rounds of play.

Alex Rhee and Kyoshiro Azumada both shot 76 and Richard Jeppesen shot a 77. Zach Brown shot an 82 and Kyle Hazlett shot an 86.

Palomar is now officially in first place in conference play with 14 wins and two losses.

The men will be playing at Gary Player Golf Course on Wednesday in Rancho Mirage.
