SAN MARCOS, CA (1/10/2020) -- Palomar faced Southwestern Friday night and suffered their first conference loss, 78-63, to snap their 10-game win streak.
Zadok Wilson posted his first career double-double scoring 16 points and crashing the boards to get 10 rebounds. Wilson also had three steals on the night. Michael Brandon was the leading scorer for the Comets with 17 points. Anthony Smith was the only other Comet in double-digits with 11 points. Jason Danso only had two points on the night, but he had three steals and was a major contributor to the Comets' defensive stops.
Palomar is now 12-4 overall and 3-1 in conference play. The men will be on the road Monday to play San Diego Mesa College for a 6 p.m. tip. They will be back home on Wednesday to face a tough San Diego City College team.
