OCEANSIDE, CA (12/11/2019) – Palomar opened up conference play against MiraCosta College and won 70-61 to extend their win streak.

The Comets were down 24-8 halfway through the first half and then only trailed 33-27 at halftime. Palomar then outscored MiraCosta 39-24 to take home their first conference win. Anthony Smith led the charge with 25 points, a new season-high, shooting a perfect 5-5 at the free-throw line and 9-16 in the field. Jacob Durham had 11 points and three rebounds. Antonio Green, Anthony Brewer and Michael Brandon all finished with 10 points apiece. Green finished the night with six rebounds, two steals and eight assists.

Palomar is now 9-3 overall and 1-0 in PCAC play. They will head to El Camino College on Friday night for a 5 p.m. tip. Follow along with live stats here.
