Bio

The Mt. Carmel High School product was a J.C. Grid-Wire All-American honorable mention linebacker in two seasons for the Comets and was Palomar's 1996-97 Men's Athlete of the Year following his sophomore season under coach Mark Eldridge. Un-recruited out of high school, he set out to prove himself as Palomar which he did, earning a scholarship to Cal. He immedeately earned a starting job but suffered season-ending knee and ankle injuries on the seventh play of the Golden Bears' 1997 season opener with Houston. Injuries limited him primarily to special teams as a junior in 1998, but Miller made 62 tackles as a senior and impressed enough to make Pac-12 honorable mention and land a spot in the Senior Bowl at Montgomery, Alabama, where he was named the North team's Defensive Player of the Game. That, in turn, helped him land a free-agent contract with the St. Louis Rams where he played in all 16 games as a rookie in 2000. He spent the 2001 season in NFL Eeurope with the Scottish Claymores, then played the 2002 season for the Seattle Seahawks.
