Bio

Founded Palomar's aquatics program, producing a string of community college All-Americans in both sports and coaching the water polo teams to four straight Mission Conference titles. Prior to Palomar: U.S. Navy veteran, played JC football with future NFL Hall of Famers Hugh McElhenny and Joe Perry in Compton College's legendary national championship program; Boxer for UCLA's varsity team when it was a collegiate sport. After graduating from UCLA was head swimming, water polo and wrestlng coach at Vista High School where his teams won multiple CIF San Diego Section titles; Honored as a San Diego County Coaching Legend by the Breitbard Athletic Foundation Hall of Fame. Currently: Holds national and world Master's Swimming records and competes as a ballroom dancer. Introduced by retired Palomar won's swiming and water polo coach Patti Waterman
