Classified Employee Appreciation Night slated for 9/24
SAN MARCOS, CA (9/20/2022) -- This Saturday No. 16 Palomar College takes on No. 12/11 College of the Canyons in a 2-1 matchup. Palomar Athletics is excited to partner with the Council of Classified Employees (CCE) as they sponsor the first-ever Classified Employee Appreciation Football Game.
All Classified Employees are invited to attend and help cheer on the Comets as they try to take down the Cougars. Members of CCE will be present for the honorary coin toss and a raffle for members only will be held at halftime.
The Council of Classified Employees is the division of CFT that advocates for support staff members in classifications such as secretaries, instructional assistants, groundskeepers, computer programmers, and many other support positions. Palomar's local chapter is 4522.
Kickoff is set for 6 p.m. at Escondido High School.
